Unmatched and Unemployed Doctors of America is staffed by volunteer doctors that represent the interests of 7,409 doctors that went unmatched in March of 2021. This organization provides comradery to unmatched doctors while pushing for legislative reform that would increase the number of residency positions. We have meetings biweekly to discuss topics that pertain to this issue. Our hope is that we can help every U.S. citizen and lawful permanent resident previously unmatched doctor find the training they deserve to get their life back on track. Going unmatched takes a toll on you financially, mentally and physically and we are against this unjust hardship for these very intelligent and courageous American individuals that continue to fight despite insurmountable odds. We are organizing to provide a supportive community and to ensure that every U.S. Citizen and Lawful Permanent Resident medical graduate who has passed their required USMLEs are able to occupy space as a physician.
These doctors want to work in primary care and take care of the health of underserved Americans.
Please email UAUDOA@gmail.com if you are interested in getting involved.
